To do list:

I have made myself a " To do: " list so I can keep myself organised and make sure i do everything and not miss anything out. Also this helps me arrange my time better and helps me get on with everything I have to do in order to be up to date as I am behind due to the reason of being in a group and then splitting up and having to do everything again. However, I have managed to catch up quite a lot. To make sure I am up to date I need to put more effort and work more in my free time.

new Brief

This is my new brief. I have made some changes so it suits the sub genre of rock which is indie. This is a lot more like my band now and it gives people the right idea of what kind of band i have created. 

new Audience Profile

 This is my Audience Profile. The changes I have made is so my band and idea are more clear to the audience as the previous one was a bit confusing as I said I am looking into the genre of Alternative rock but the bands influences were bands like Metallica and ACDC which is hard rock. I after I have done my research into more depth, I realised that my band should be and Indie rock band due to the song they're paying as well as the way they dress and their influences. For example, the band Blue Suits, Black Ties is very similar to bands like "The Strokes", " Two door cinema club" and other indie bands. 

Indie Rock

This is another power point I have done for my research into the genre of indie rock. After I researched into both indie and alternative rock I realised that indie rock is more suitable for my band. This is because of my song choice as well as the appearance I have chose for my band.

I have looked at four similar bands which are " Kings of Leon", " Bastille" , " The Strokes" and "Two door Cinema Club". They are all indie bands which are quite modern and are formed around the 2000's. They all look like what I want my band to look like. This is why they're my inspiration.

Furthermore, I also like their album covers. This is because they're using something different other than just a photo of the band. This means they are advertising their music not themselves.

Alternative Rock

The Definition of Alternative Rock: 
Alternative rock is a genre of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1980s and became widely popular by the 1990s.

 

Best photos from Photoshoot 2

These are the most successfull photos from my second photoshoot. I like these photos more than the ones from my first photoshoot as heree there isnt as much nature as in teh first ones. This makes them more appropriate for my band as you wouldnt see a rock band hangging around in a park. It is more likely that they will be in like an abandoned area or skate parks.

 

 

Narrative of Music video

The narrative of my music video:

The whole music video is about this flashback Michael has about his previous relationship where he got cheated on. During the music video we see several flashbacks and memories of him and his ex-girlfriend which are not together anymore. It also shows how people come and go in your life even if you " could use somebody ".  There will also be band performances and just the lead singer performance which is partially included in the narrative.
